Mayor Menashe Miller welcomed N.J. Farm Market and its owners to the Township community at a grand opening today. N.J. Farm, located in the Seagull Square Shopping Center, is a comprehensive market that sells fruits, vegetables, delicatessen meats, flowers, dry fruits and nuts, seafood, fresh fish, household items, and more in a 22,000 square-foot store once occupied by Stop N Shop.
David Oh, an owner, reported that the store currently employs 50 people, 40 of whom live locally.
Mayor Miller said, “We are very happy that N.J. Farm Market is employing so many local people. This store is very impressive, from inexpensive produce to a magnificent array of fresh flowers and plants.”
N.J. Farm Market is now open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with plans to stay open until midnight in the near future.
Nice to see a new farmers market opening, instead of yet another pizza shop peddling unhealthy foods, keep it up!
I was at this store earlier today to check it out. Very impressive!
Will they carry any Kosher items?
I’m glad to see that Seagull Square is being revitalized. This is great news.
This shopping center was vacant and eyesore for quite some time. Hopefully this store will attract more businesses and better clientele.
“Will they carry kosher items?”
Yes – apples, bananas, cantaloupe, cucumbers, eggplant, figs, grapes, mushrooms, nectarines, oranges, pears, plums, zucchinni (how are we doing so far?)
They have a lot of stuff. Although, if you want fresher stuff check out Paradise Garden around the block. Their stuff is nice and fresh.
