VIDEO: Despite the powerful winds and rain, Mayor Miller is out and about assisting the Emergency workers with whatever he can. In this video, Mayor Miller can be seen with the Department of Public Works in Whispering Pines as they clean out the drains to prevent whatever flooding wherever possible.
After seeing a scooter and other toys and junk being pulled from drains, the Mayor suggested that homeowners do what they can to clean the gutters near their homes to prevent the sewers from flooding.

Forget Sandy causing damage. Homeowners themselves cause alot of issues that could be avoided. Lack of disrespect for Twp property. Bulk pick should be cut, obviously people have another way!!
