Mayor Miller announced this evening at the Township Committee meeting that he will be deployed to the Middle East to be with Troops this Holiday Season. The Mayor is expected to be in Qatar for approximately three weeks, as tasked by the U.S Department of Defense.
The Mayor will not be in attendance for the last Township meeting of the year.
Last November, the Mayor was deployed to Iraq for 6 weeks. TLS.
Be Blessed!!
G d speed our son.
Major Mayor rocks the house. He’s on a mission fron G-d.
You will be in our prayers.
Without the Mayor, how will the town continue to function so well? We wish you and all our soldiers a safe deployment and a swift return. You are all in our hearts and prayers. G-d speed and G-d bless.
That is the purpose of a deputy mayor (Langert)
Be well, Be safe & a speedy return.
My son was there for 6 months. And he didn’t get a parade when he got home, like the mayor did.
He really ran the town well this year. From the moment he was sworn in he was faced with chalanges such as the murder of Officer Matlosz yet he handled it very well. He has true leadership skills.
he not only serves our town, but sets an example of what it means to serve our country. Well done sir.
Menash is a big mentch, if you listen to him speak he always gives others the credit. Always asking others their opinion and ideas. Thats called gadlus!
Mr. Miller did a great job representing the town and being a compassionate “father” during the grieving time period that followed 317’s murder. He was caring, compassionate and exhibited tremndous sensitivity by honorarily naming 3rd street Matlosz way.
mr miller , i may have been tough on you in your term as mayor , but i respect you more then you will ever know for your service to our military and country , god speed sir

I too was a big critic of Mr. Miller when he first became Mayor but that all changed within the first few weeks of him taking office. I have tremendous respect for this man and what he does. He is a true friend to ALL of Lakewood’s residents.
Keep up the great work! You’ll be in our thoughts and prayors. We wish you a safe and speedy return.
