Masmid Govoha to Raffle Off a Sefer Torah – Entire Chumash and Parshiyos Sponsorships sold out within Days

ira zAlmost immediately after Masmid Govoha kicked off their Sefer Torah Raffle Campaign, every single Chumash and Parshah was sold out. The speed at which the parshiyos were bought is a testament to how highly the 30,000 talmidim who have benefited from the program value Masmid Govoha. But a study of the sponsors so far shows that psukim are being reserved not only by current and former “talmidim” and their parents, but that Klal Yisrael as a whole has jumped onto the Masmid Govoha bandwagon.

Until Shavuos, just $75 will entitle a buyer to one raffle ticket, and three psukim will be written in the purchaser’s zechus as well. After Shavuos the price will go up to $108 a ticket. While chumashim and parshiyos are all reserved, many psukim are still available, so the opportunity for anyone to win a Sefer Torah is still readily available!

One sponsor will win the Sefer Torah, plus $1,000 towards a Hachnosas Sefer Torah. Yet all contributors will have the zechus of supporting a program that benefits talmidim in dozens of Yeshivos across the United States, with over 90% of the boys increasing their learning at least 10-15 minutes a day!

mgThe winner will be chosen on Erev Yom Kippur, so that a Hachnosas Sefer Torah before Simchas Torah will be possible. For more details please visit MasmidGovoha.org or email [email protected] or [email protected].

  1. It would have been better to allow one ticket per passuk purchased. Not everyone can afford $75. Being more inclusive means even one who purchases a single passuk can be entered into the raffle.
