TLS EXCLUSIVE: Monday evening, a meeting was scheduled to take place in Montreal on behalf of the three Bachurim imprisoned in Japan. When the Mashgiach, Reb Matisyahu Shlita was asked to be the guest speaker at the meeting, he asked if it would be possible to postpone the meeting due to his weekly Monday night ‘Shmooz’ at BMG. When the Mashgiach was told that they were unable to reschedule the meeting, being that it involved the urgent Mitzvah of Pidyon Shvuyim, the Mashgiach readily agreed to fly to Montreal to attend, even if it meant missing the Shiur. However, when the Mashgiach got to the airport and the flight was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, he returned home. The meeting took place as planned and the Mashgiach Shlita spoke via a live hookup from Lakewood. The weekly Shmooz, took place last night in Yeshiva.
