mcguire_fort_dix_lakehurst_joint_base_mdl_tls_picThe Golf and India Batteries 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment will conduct artillery fire training at the Joint Base MDL, September 19-21.

The training is scheduled to occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

This training is essential and helps to ensure the readiness of America’s fighting force.

“The joint base community and residents of the surrounding areas may experience ground shaking and considerable noise coming from the ranges,” the base said today. It is important to note that noise from the ranges may travel farther during overcast weather conditions.

“Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst works hard to minimize the impact training has on its surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors.”
