For years, Manetta Place residents have complained about improper drainage during rainstorms, which caused excessive water pooling and road damage.

Lakewood Township Engineer Tony Poklasny assessed the site and presented an improvement plan to the Lakewood Township Committee, which approved and financed the project.

Manetta Place now has a new, effective drainage system, a fully repaved road, as well as bright “No Parking” striping at the dead-end, to ensure that vehicles can make smooth, safe turns.
