Manchester Mayor Robert Arace today is commending the police department for the capture of Ron Carr.
“On Tuesday, our community was shaken by a series of disturbing incidents targeting our fellow residents in Pine Lake Park,” the Mayor said. “Hate symbols were desecrated on several properties, and a devastating fire engulfed a home under construction, believed to be an act of arson. I am profoundly grateful and proud to acknowledge the swift and decisive actions taken by the Manchester Police Department in apprehending the suspect, Ron Carr, 34, within mere hours of these crimes.”
Arace added, “It deeply saddens me to witness such acts of hatred and harm inflicted upon any members of our community. I do not tolerate hate in any form, and I stand firmly against such abhorrent actions. I remain resolute in promoting unity and fostering an environment where all residents can thrive.”
“In the face of adversity, let us unite against hate and intolerance. Manchester is a place where compassion, respect, and understanding prevail. We can build a community that exemplifies these values and ensures a safe and welcoming environment.”
