Man With Warrants Arrested After Fleeing From Police On Traffic Stop

A man who fled from police during a traffic stop was arrested moments later, police say. At about 2:15 AM Sunday, police stopped a driver for a motor vehicle violation, but when the officer began getting out of his vehicle, the party took off driving.

The suspect’s information was shared with the other officers on the road, and the vehicle was located moments later. The vehicle was empty, but a man who fit the description of the suspect, was spotted running.

Police chased him down and arrested him.

It turns out the man had warrants out for his arrest from other Townships. [TLS]
