PHOTOS: A man suspected of pulling a gun on students on Central Avenue on Thursday, was arrested and charged, Detectives Lieutenant William Addison and Detective Sergeant William Rodriguez tell TLS. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m Thursday evening when a motorist passing Yeshivas Nachlas Yisroel on Central Avenue, pointed his gun at several students (as briefly reported in our TLS News Alerts Thursday).
The students immediately called police with a description of the suspect and vehicle, and the information was dispatched to patrolling officers.
Moments later, while police were responding to Central Avenue, another officer spotted a vehicle fitting the description, and pulled it over.
When the police approached the driver, they found a suspect under the influence, and in possession of a weapon.
The suspect was identified and was charged with DWI and possession of a BB gun. TLS-CCP /Photos-Y. Klein.

The main lesson is to keep your eyes open and report. This man could have hurt people! Bravo for these bochurim!
