Man Looking To Return Money Borrowed Over Twenty Years Ago In BMG

The following is the contents of the sign, which was hanging at the Bais Eliyahu building of BMG yesterday: More than twenty years ago i “borrowed” $20 from a box of seforim being sold in the lobby outside the main bais medrash. All I can remember is that it was a large size black sefer on shas or halacha. If anybody know whos it was please e-mail me at ********. Thank you.

If you want the adress its still hanging there today, or if you think you can help him but can’t make it to yeshivah I’m sure the editor will give you the adress if you contact TLS.

20 years ago?how many people were in bmg then and are still there? What are the odds of this getting anywhere sounds like a hoax to me.

around ten years ago .. i took ten dollars out of a wallet in a jacket in yeshiva..the jacket was black or dark blue (i’m not sure)..i later heard that the owner has darkish hiar and was wearing a black hat..if anyone knows someone who fits that description please let me know.

it might fall under “miuvos loi yachol liskoin”…the only aitza is to buy one sefer of each volume that is put out in bais eliyahu…it will teach a lesson (actually a bunch of lessons.)

1. Actually, I believe Bais Faiga began using it’s building on Courtney in September of 1988.
2. Read the sign again – it does not say that the money was taken from Bais Eliyahu, it says “lobby outside the main bais medrash. “
