Police are looking for three suspects who assaulted and slashed a suspect with a knife in Lakewood, TLS has learned.

On Sunday, at approximately 6:45 pm, the Lakewood Police Department received a phone call in reference to an aggravated assault which occurred on August Drive.

The victim in this case reported that he was riding his bicycle on August drive when three males approached him wearing dark clothing and ski masks.

“The victim was assaulted numerous times by the suspects and ultimately slashed with a knife to his chest,” police told TLS. Injuries sustained by the victim are minor.

The suspects are being described as middle-aged males, two of which are slender in build and one heavy in build.
