Man dead in Lakewood in apparent drug overdose

A man has died in what appears to be a drug overdose, police say.

Police and EMS on Sunday morning responded to the Henry Street home, where they located the 35-year-old patient unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drug paraphernalia was found nearby, officials say.

Authorities are investigating.

Thanx, TLS, for posting this important story. I hope they don’t spend a lot of precious officer’s time with this investigation. We’ve read enough Forensics handbooks to know if there was (a) no sign of fowl play; (b) No sign of forced entry; (c) drug paraphernalia in open at the scene; (d) signs of self-induced drug use – we can fairly assume that’s what happened and we can all get back to stopping real crime !!

Be aware of drug use.
