A man in the High Point area was arrested after being found to be carrying an illegal weapon, Detective Lieutenant William Addison says. Police received information that the man was walking around with a gun, and when they approached him, they found the concealed weapon. He was arrested and is being charged with possession of an unlicensed weapon among other charges.
