The school bus which lost its rear wheels while driving last week may have been due to an intentional act, sources tell TLS.
The school bus, apparently en route to a carpool run, was driving on Chestnut Street on Friday when the two rear left wheels suddenly fell off, causing the full size school bus to tip to the side. Luckily, there were no students on board at the time.
“It could have been very serious,” says a source.
Police are investigating the incident.

people need to shut their pie whole no buses failed inspection according to the company.. the mechanics are all certified and some of the comments that first came out are wrong . Find out what the truth is before talking smack.. people in this town run at the mouth when I called to ask they told me what I need to know. My kid rides centrals buses and they are amazing drivers and company. Those people who had negative things to say should shut their cream pie whole and grow up. You know who you are…… Central Bus is and always be a wonderful company in my eyes and im glad my kids ride their buses.
no reason why torque-tight cant be used safety first (arrow indicators for torque)
Why didn’t the driver realize this during the required “pre-trip” inspection????
