Lt. Governor Guadagno, candidate for Governor, blasts Christie for sitting on beach closed to the public

Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, Republican candidate for Governor, today blasted Christie for sitting on the beach – which was closed to the public because of the Government shutdown.

Guadagno released the following statement.

“If I were governor, I sure wouldn’t be sitting on the beach if taxpayers didn’t have access to state beaches. It’s beyond words.

We need to end the shutdown now. It’s hurting small businesses and ordinary New Jerseyans. Instead of political games, Governor Christie, Speaker Prieto and Senate President Sweeney should pass a budget that delivers property tax relief and puts taxpayers first.”

Christie Is not to blame for the shutdown…He made a deal with congress and the legislators agreed to it…it is the Speaker who is holding it all up.

Chris Christie is to blame, he could have exempted state beaches and parks like he did casinos and racetracks.

This is one of the busiest weekends of the year.
