If you have gently worn coats, jackets or sweaters lying around your home, the Lakewood Police Department can make good use of it.

The annual coat drive is underway, collecting the used clothing to give to the less fortunate before winter sets in.

Simply bring the items to the Lakewood Police headquarters, 231 3rd Street, and drop it off in the lobby.

The items will be distributed during the LPD’s Coat Drive event at Red Square.
