LPD Says Goodbye To Their Former Chief Stephen Belitrand

PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED 1:45PM] Law Enforcement officials from Lakewood and Toms River gathered this morning to say goodbye to the former Lakewood Police Chief Stephen Belitrand. Belitrand, 91, served as the Chief of the Department for many years, until he retired in 1987.

The body was led through Lakewood and passed the Police Headquarters before making its way to St. Mary’s for a funeral mass, attended by friends and family.
