LPD Patrol Car Busts Tire On Pothole

LPD car busted tire ridgePhoto (click to enlarge) taken a short time ago of an LPD Officer waiting for a Tow Truck to arrive after busting one of his Patrol Car’s tires in a large Pothole on Ridge Avenue, between East 7th and Somerset Avenue. The Irony of it is, a resident from the area attended last week’s Township Committee meeting to complain about the large Pothole and about the massive flooding in the area-which can be seen in the photo. 1. Calling about that pothole won’t do any good, there is like 2 feet of water there and they can’t fix it until the water is gone. You know there are potholes all over town, drive slower and watch where you go……….

  2. Yeah it is true, Lakewood is full of potholes everywhere,
There is only few roads whit out them…
But the municipality prefers to work on the look of downtown…
who cares how does it look the rest of the town?
or even better who cares about the accidents or damages this may cause?

  3. It’s not just Lakewood, the entire state has been hit with potholes from recent storms, but the county and state are working on getting all the holes filled as fast as possible. I am sure DPW will get to the issue as soon as they open on Monday
