LPD Officer Taken To KMC For Heat Exhaustion

LPD small LPD12:30 p.m. A Lakewood Police Officer was taken to KMC a short time ago after suffering from heat exhaustion, an official tells TLS. The Officer was working at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on River Avenue when he was taken in for the heat-related illness.

Two patients suffered minor injuries resulting from the MVA, and were transported to KMC via EMS from the scene, which involved 4 vehicles. TLS-CCP/TLS-89

    This is just another unfortunate reminder that we must drink….drink… and drink some more during these hot days.

    Drink… water that is.

  2. Our prayers are with him, please keep the towns crossing guards in your thoughts as they work this very hot summer, I usually keep extra bottles of water on hand if I see them. Way to go to everyone for keeping us safe.
