  1. How did the prep start this $100k super fancy SUV so easily? That car should have tons of antitheft gadgets build in??? Was it left on with FOB inside or keys in ignition? Or did these gangsters come night before with super sensitive radio equipment, scanned for FOB radio signal from outside the house, and came back mid-day with radio replicator? The second is a Very scary scenario, which would make everyone with FOBs vulnerable to this!

  2. Have been using bouncie for the past few months and have been very pleased with it.

It plugs right into the port – so no installation needed. Service is affordable $8/month ($2/week for peace of mind of knowing where my car is at all times). The site/online portal work well.

  3. Easy to steal a Range Rover. It is the #2 car stolen worldwide. Parts are in high demand and so are exports.

All you need is the VIN (which can be obtained earlier by snapping a pic of it) and know some crook who knows how to program that into the phone app or key fob. Come back later and it’s yours to front for parts or export with the right connections.

This punk is likely a stooge who gets a couple hundred bucks for an organized group who does the real complicated work for the big bucks.

That car is worth at least 30K for export and 300K for parts.

The expensive glow in dark blue getaway car was likely stolen just minutes before and both are on their way to the drop off point.

  4. The default for these expensive Range Rovers is that the mirrors fold in when the car is locked. If you drive by and the car mirrors are out you can be quite certain that the car is unlocked. There is also a good chance that the car is unlocked because someone left the key fob inside – if the key fob is inside the car it will not lock.

This is much much more likely that someone using a scanner or paying off a dealership to create a new illegal key fob.

  5. My boss had a Range Rover. He constantly was playing with the app. Putting the rear seats down and up, moving the mirrors, rolling down the windows while watching the reactions of the people hanging out by the parking lot, from the office window. One time he went to have some more fun and the car was gone. The app didn’t work and he never found the car. I guess the joke was on him.

    • I haven’t used vyncs, but reading the info on their site, vyncs is an annual subscription – with slightly lower cost, while bouncie is monthly.

Also, vyncs seems to boast about some fuel tracking capabilities that I don’t see with bouncie. I don’t see any other significant difference.
