Thursday was last day of active service for Lakewood Police Detective Steve Wexler. Wexler started working for the Department in March of 1984, and served a Detective for the majority of his career.
“I tried to the best I could for the community,” Wexler told TLS.
Wexler is one of several long-time officers retiring over the next few months. The retiring officers are in the process of being replaced.
Wexler declined a public walkout ceremony.
