Hullo? This isn’t a Jewish event. Why are the comments comlaining about kosher food or the conflicting timing of another jewish event.
If you can make it fine. If you can eat there fine. But don’t comlain about it

1. Night out against crime is ALWAYS the first tuesday in august.

2. From what i have been told (since I am suppling some items) EVERYTHING is going to be kosher this year. yes there will be some items not cholov yisroel and not pas yisroel, but heimish bake shop is suppling pastries, pizza stores are supplying pizza, the grill this year is ONLY going to be kosher.

like they said above if you want to eat fine if you don’t fine also. come out and enjoy your selves and let the kids have some FREE fun (and plenty of giveaways)

How is it that there is only one kind of food served? Maybe some children can’t have it! So what should we call this reason?

this is a nice outing that we have gone to the past few years
there has always been kosher snacks since we have been going
for everyone who is complaining if you don’t wont to go then don’t but don’t push your beliefs onto others we can all make our own decision to go our not to.

the truth about is...

Not really sure why it is called, “Night Out Against Crime” been there before and there is not one thing mentioned about crime prevention. Should really be called, “Night Out For Free Stuff”. It’s nice to see all the donated items that are passed out to the people of the community, but how about some crime stats or tips on how “NOT” to become a victim of a crime! Seems more like a feel good event to me.

If this is a night for all the people of Lakewood lets make sure everyone can enjoy it. Have food of all kinds not just for the Kosher eaters. I wouldn’t not go if I didn’t have a choice of foods, there are sill some non-jewish people left in town that like to go to events around town.
