Loose Sheep Causes Traffic Delays In Downtown

mike r sheepPHOTOS: A loose sheep was the cause of some extra rush hour traffic this afternoon. The sheep, purchased by a resident for Shecitah, was seen running loose in the area of 2nd Street and Madison Avenue, causing motorists to swarve around it. Police responded and managed to sheep in cage forest avenuefinally corner the sheep on Forest Avenue, while the owner was located.

Responding Officerers were Ptl. Mike Ruez (pictured) and Ptl. Kevin Martin.

The Officers gave the animal water to prevent it from dehydrating.
