While most Homeowners have gotten their tax assessments lowered this year due to the Township Reassessment, those who haven’t can still appeal their assessment until May 1st. While most years the deadline is April 1st, due to the reassessment, the deadline for Lakewood residents is a month later this year. Remember, to appeal an assessment you must provide comparable SALES in your area, not someone else’s assessment. If you feel you have been over assessed you can download the form for a tax appeal here. For instructions and guidelines how to file on your own, click here. If you would like to find comparable sales in your area you can check it up here.

So my assessment went down but my taxes are going up a lot. And all bob singer cares about are his blue claws light poles, and baloney ems money saving. I don’t get it. 30 years as his slave is enough. We need to end this now. Vote for harold or mickey mouse just get him out!
is someone really willing to find out why our taxes keep on going up? I am, and i am willing to put my money where my mouth is. if people would post on this site that they are willing to put money into it maybe we can get something going and figure out where our tax money is going
