1. I wish frum people would apply for this job. Many mothers would be able to send their children off with much munuchas hanefesh if they knew that the kids were being transported by a yid. The bus driver who has been driving PRIMARY boys from my son’s yeshiva is someone so frightening – many people would RUN if they were alone with such an individual and yet…. he is trusted with a bunch of very young kinderlach. I hope that is why NEGBA is looking for a new driver! It should be an honor to have the job of transporting kids to yeshiva and back home safely, an honest salary, benefits …. I hope all the schools in Lakewood will only have frum bus drivers very soon!

2. Like with any other job, make sure to speak with some current employees of the company before taking the job. Always good to understand what you’re getting yourself into!

4. You know..All bus drivers must have a background check and fingerprints done as well as have a CDL driver’s license. This is strictly regulated by the Federal Gov’t and the state as well. So your children are well protected, but if you feel you want a “yid” driving then that is what you should have because I guess the other bus drivers are not your preference but they have the experience to do their jobs.

8. if you apply, make sure they have a bus for you! my child is getting picked up at about 8:55 when school starts at 9, and he is the first stop, the driver says i didnt have a bus till now,
