The Lakewood Development Corporation seeks an individual with knowledge of government administration to assume duties of project application and oversight within the Urban Enterprise Zone Program (UEZ). Individual would work with staff in the administration of state designated Urban Enterprise Zone Program. Duties require computer literacy; communication skills; an understanding of public policy and economic development issues; recordkeeping; compliance reporting and project oversight responsibilities; ability to interact with state agencies for the purpose of managing local grants and projects. Individual would report directly to the Executive Director. Submission of education credentials required. Upon recommendation by the Search Committee the applicant would be required to be available by July 1, 2009.
