Local PBA To Hold First Annual Slow Pitch Softball Home Run Derby Fundraiser

The Lakewood Police P.B.A. Local No. 71 this Saturday will be holding it’s First Annual “Slow Pitch Softball Home Run Derby” at FirstEnergy Park, to raise funds for the Lakewood P.B.A. The Derby will be held following the game, which scheduled for 7:05 PM. Derby will begin approximately 10 PM

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top three hitters.

“Here is your chance to get down on a big league field and hit home runs like a pro” said Sgt. Bill Butterworth, the event Coordinator.

Registration will take place during the game at a cost of $25.00 per batter.

All proceeds go to the Lakewood Police P.B.A., which helps support community events and scholarships.

Yes Sergeant Butters (as he likes to be called) will be the All Star Batter for LPD. He is a solo home run king……….
