Mechanics during the last few weeks sure aren’t complaining about business being slow – thanks to an historic pothole season.
One local mechanic says since Purim, his shop has performed over $30,000 in pothole-related repairs. The mechanic says they’ve been flooded with tire and rim damages, axle damages, and other pothole-related damages.

As earlier reported, the Mayor announced a new type of pothole-filling is coming to the streets of Lakewood, in hopes of ridding the roads of the mess winter left.
The new pothole-filling system, to be tested by the township for a couple of weeks, will reportedly keep patches in place for over three years, and only have a failure rate of approximately 10%.
The trucks have already begun work around town.
