Local 9-year-old Makes Another Donation to CHOP after Pennies Come Pouring In

nicFollowing the story on TLS about Nicolina Saccomanno, the pennies and dimes haven’t stopped pouring in for the 9-year-old’s fundraiser.

In just 10 days following the article, Nicolina collected $75.00 in her paper cup sitting on the desk of the Inspection Department.

“Everyone came in with rolls of change, including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor,” says her father, Inspection Department Director Michael Saccomanno.

As with her previous donation, the money was donated to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
