Today from 11:45am-4:00pm, the extended Lakewood community will be treated to a meaningful, educational and exciting safety event co-hosted by the Lakewood Police Department, Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch and the Rothenberg Law Firm.

Event coordinators are urging all families to make use of today’s day off from school for many and long Friday for all to have their bikes registered by the Traffic & Safety Division of the Lakewood Police Department while being able to stroll through a myriad of very exciting and interactive vendors, with many providing free giveaways. Live entertainment will be provided throughout, conveying important safety messages.

This year’s event is taking place at the beautiful area of the North side of Lakewood Carasaljo, near the Band Stand, promising an enjoyable and scenic event for all ages — bring your cameras!
