For over 20 years, Chai Lifeline Lakewood has been there to help families in our community. Today, Chai Lifeline is turning to you for help.
Beginning today, May 2 through May 4, Chai Lifeline Lakewood is running its annual “We’re Family” campaign—Chai Lifeline NJ’s most important fundraiser of the year—to help children and families impacted by illness, crisis, and loss. The funds raised will help fund Chai Lifeline Lakewood meet its budget of more than $4.5 million so they can continue to provide critical year-round programs and services, including case management, counseling, crisis and trauma support, insurance advocacy, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, financial assistance, peer support groups, big brothers & sisters, afterschool programming, Camp Simcha’s overnight and local summer programs, and more.
“With more than 1,000 local Chai Lifeline families, this campaign will allow us to continue to meet the needs of our growing population and ensure they receive the care and services they require,” said Rabbi Sruli Fried, director of Chai Lifeline NJ/PA.
To date, more than 350 families have already signed up as Raisers for this important campaign and more than 3,000 individual donations have come in.
“Every single dollar raised will have a tremendous impact on our families, friends, and neighbors who need our help,” said Rabbi Fried.
