    • Minyanim for weekday Shachris at RAV Gissinger Zatzal’s Shul Tent are 8:00 and 9:00 AM.
Mincha Maariv are the same as posted for the indoor Shul Minyanim. (Assuming there are enough people that are there for that particular Minyan.)
The tent will be there till at least Monday October 19th after Shachris.
After that is questionable. Please inquire again next week for updates.

  1. This Minyan At Rav Gissinger Zatzal’s shul is for those who don’t have antibodies or for people who want to take extra precautions.
THIS IS NOT A MINYAN FOR PEOPLE WITH COVID OR WITH ANY COVID SYMPTOMS!!!!!!

      • No. People who have antibodies can go in the Shul without a mask.
If they want they are still welcome in the tent but that was not the intention. It is primarily for people who did not have Covid yet therefore don’t have antibodies and want to play it safe and for those same people who find wearing masks inside the Shul difficult.

  2. Does anyone want to make a designated Beis Midrash for the upcoming Zman ONLY for those who volunteer and are willing to properly wear a mask over their mouth and nose properly at all times AND DO NOT HAVE OR HAVE NOT BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19 REGARDLESS of whether or not they have antibodies?
THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT TO IMPOSE MY VIEWS, IT IS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO GO ABOUT MASKING ON THERE OWN WILL IN A PRIVATE AREA! PLEASE POST EMAIL SO I CAN CONTACT YOU

    • DO NOT POST YOUR EMAIL ANYWHERE. Let the author publish HIS contact information or the author should make an arrangement with the editors at TLS.

In any case, all of these scenarios are based on an honor system where the assumption is that everyone is being truthful. Personally, I think that is a risky situation.

  3. That list would have to have two columns. Staff and Customers. Even so, strict enforcement is the issue.

The truth is, we don’t need a list here on TLS. We see it right in front of our eyes on a daily basis.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Murphy pulled a Cuomo out of his hat.

  4. People with covid should be staying home ,period. Disgusting to go out and infect others ,esp at minyanim
It really amazes me the audacity and selfishness of theses individuals

  5. The Minyanim in the Zichron Yaakov (R Gissenger Z’L)Tent are the same times as the Minyanim inside the Shul. However,it is dependent on having enough interest for each particular Minyan. If you are willing to check it out and then go inside if there is no Minyan then it is a great option. Inside, masks are required for those without antibodies.

  6. A huge yasher koach for undertaking this effort. I have been wondering why I haven’t heard of any of our yeshivas making any attempt at precautions which ARE REQUIRED BY LAW.

The lame answers I have heard is that it’s too hard or no one will listen.

Well, if people at the top stress the importance of masking and distancing, you will find that the yeshivaleit will fall in line as well.

I wish you success in putting this together and may this be an example of what is possible if we just put our minds to it!

  7. Khal Zichron Yaakov (Rav Gissinger Zatzal’s Shul) will continue to have a tent for at least one more week. (Till at least October 26 after Shacharis.)
Please see what was noted above in #12 ” However, it is dependent….”
