Hey Joseph The Megilla is a book that tells the purim story. The purim story in a nutshell is gods miraculous salvation from a decree to exterminate all the jews in the Persian empire. Therefore we commemorate this miracle every year with a holiday which is commonly known as purim on which we read the megilla among other things.
Chabad of Jackson will have megilla readings at the following locations:
