It has never been more vital to infuse in our children a love for Torah and Yiddishkeit. Many often wonder what can be done to infuse a spark of simchas hachaim into a child or teen’s heart.  Rabbi Binyomin Pruzansky recognized the need for more positive energy and more enthusiasm in Yiddishkeit, and so he along with a warm and caring team went about developing Liromeim.

Rabbi Pruzansky says, “Two years ago I opened a shul in Westgate called Ohr Dovid, whose goal was to infuse simcha in Torah and Tefillah.  But then recently, I noticed that something needed to be done to give young boys and teens a place where they can have a geshmak in Avodas Hashem when they’re not in yeshiva”. L’romeim, based in Ohr Dovid is a place where their talents and energies can be used in a constructive way, and where every boy feels at home. Liromeim currently runs a night program for high school bochurim, and is filling an important niche in the Westgate community.

But we are not done yet! We want to expand the program to benefit as many boys in the neighborhood as possible! We have plans for more exciting inspirational programs and trips, as well as school curriculums teaching Ahavas Yisroel and chizuk in other important topics.
