PHOTO: Earlier this afternoon, the Lakewood Fire Department as well as Forest Fire units responded to the Talmud Torah Bais Avrohom school on New Hampshire Avenue, after a brush fire broke out just outside the school’s yard. A passing EMS member saw the flames coming from the nearby forest and called the fire department.
School was in session at the time, but luckily the brush fire was extinguished before it could spread. TLS-CCP.
what the ems dept gets no cudos for being aware of the surrounding areas while driving.
This is what happens when boys have access to lighters & matches.
kudos is spelled with a k
And the town just cut the fire budget. Just think of what will happen in a few years when the fire trucks are to old to be used.
“just outside the school’s yar.” should be yard
