LFD Announces Passing of Ex-Chief Richard Shearman

LFD: It is with deep regret that the members of Engine Company No. 1 and the Lakewood Fire Department announces the passing of Ex-Chief Richard Shearman.

Richie served the Department as the Department Chief, 1st and 2nd Asst. Chief as well as Company Captain, Company 1st and 2nd Lt., Company President, Company Secretary and District 3 Deputy Fire Warden for the NJFFS. He was currently serving as the Company president and the Chairman of the Department Trustees. He will be sorely missed.”
