BD”E. he was a real gaon. He also sat on a Bais Din in Lakewood for a while.

A tzaddik that will be a great loss to all of klal yisroel.
Sometimes I wonder if we really appreciate the gedolim we have today? the guidance we get from them, the daas torah they give us?
Sometimes when we don’t appreciate something, Hashem takes it away from us until we stop taking it for granted.
May his neshama have an aliya
BDE
Any relation to Rabbi Felder from lakewood?
Was he related to HaRav Shmuel Felder shlita?
A DISTANT COUSIN
Why must i read your comment on every website i go to. It was more than enough on the first one. We dont second-guess hashem. We just try to do the right thing. There can be many reasons we can think of and many more that we can’t. It is the job of the ktanai amana to try to figure out why.

After Rav shach Zatzal was niftar, Rav Shteinman was asked what we must be mechazek in, in light of the petira of such a gadol. He said “Each person must make his own cheshbon Hanefesh, and ANYTHING you find which may have been a reason for our having to lose a gadol, should be considered as the reason you were given this wake up call.
MD was not saying that his reason was definitely the reason Hashem took the niftar away, but was SUGGESTING something that we need chizuk in, which MAY have been the reason for this wake up call.
calling this ketanei amana is totally a mistake.
