Yes it is News. How are Talmidim supposed to know about the Levaya ??
Thanks to TLS for keeping us updated.
i agree with number 3. that every tragedy hasa wake-up call from Hashem,-sometimes its for teshuva, other times its for more bitachon in Hashem & other times its for achdus…..
#4 thats just it!! he didnt have his coffee yet!
but I agree with all the other commenters, that when I see such a besurah –
I dont look at it as my daily hock! I think
“Oiy! Hashem wants us to do Teshuva!”
#1 your point you are TRYING to make – sadly you can’t even express yourself properly- seems to suggest that you are a little misguided and could use a little professional help.
To #1. yes this is news. most of the readers of this site are orthodox jews who care to know when one of their senior rosh yeshivos are niftar. in contrast to that the nyt does not mention when one of our revered leaders pass away. i would not exactly call them the same just each site gearing towards its readership.
Misaskim has arranged for the Levaya to be held in JFK Airport at 4:30PM in the “Cell Lot”. Upon entering the JFK Expressway, follow the big blue signs to the Cell Lot. It is one of the first exits BEFORE the terminals.
