I just received a very authentic sounding call claiming the man was from Chase Credit Card Services. He said the payment I tried to issue on May 8 did not go through and if I can please give him a credit card or go to the nearest chase bank to withdraw the money and he will tell me how to send it over. Most interesting part is that I did issue a payment on May 28 and so I thought I heard wrong and that is what he said. Baruch Hashem I caught onto this that its scam and I hung up.
Chase has access to your account they don’t need a credit card number from you they will just ask for a few details just to confirm they have the right person. This guy did not ask for any confirmation.
Please warn your readers to very very cautious with giving personal information over the phone!

They called me too with very specific details of a recent transaction. I hung up and called Chase, they said was fraud.
It’s troubling how the scammers are getting information including the last 4 digits of card used in transaction.
I was told by Chase that hey never ask for the full CC number over the phone.
Sometimes at the heat of the moment you might not think too clearly. It can happen to anyone, So PL do not judge, THe reader did catch on on time, Happy SHavuoth just dont overdo with the cheese cake, and blintzes, [ I am basically saying it to myself. ]

just saying , there is an app TRUECALLER where u can report numbers as spam, so anyone who has the app will have that number blocked on their phone (if they put in those settings) please do everyone the favor and put the number in and report it as spam.
Hint: If you don’t Recognize the phone number DON’T ANSWER!
Let it go to Voice Mail. They’ll always hang up.
Then save the number as SPAM to your phone.
First rule to avoid the scammer,If the scammer does not use you full name hang up. They are calling blind and don’t know exactly who they are talking to.
A good practice is to never give info over the phone. Politely let them know you will call back and they should leave a note in your file.
The real banks always accept that. If they get pushy they are a scam.
I don’t know how they stay in business, I can’t imagine that there are still people who fall for these things. In our family my kids fight over who answers these calls so they can have fun driving them crazy! gives us some fun entertainment.
To 9, Do not worry they do very good business, Those calls come from all the world. They are professionals, PLus I do not think its a very good idea to let young kids answer those calls,
If they scan one person a day they do very well. They laugh to the bank.
