This is a bit different than what was posted abut the Mexico coke product in Costco. But the response I got from the “OU” may help.

Hi,
I was shopping in kosher store when I came across 8.5 sprite bottle. I searched the bottle trying to find “ou” but nothing. Next to it I saw the coke bottle and was able to find “ou” in an instance.
Please find pictures attached. And can you tell me the hechsher status on the sprite.

The Orthodox Union certifies a wide range of products manufactured by the Coca Cola Company in the United States of America, Canada and the State of Israel.
The Orthodox Union has no information on products of the Coca Cola Company manufactured in other locations.
All products made in USA are Kosher certified under OU, even without the symbol on the bottle/can.

Now can someone get a letter in regard to the Pepsi products without a Hechsher.
I called the ou once about what I can eat in another country. I was told coke is ok all over. PEASE VERIFY FOR YOURSELF.

It seems there is an issue with Coke manufactured in Mexico which would explain the OU’s clear statement above listing from which countries they take responsibility for. Coke Cola products from America, Canada and Israel are under the OU. It would mean the other countries are not.
Does anyone know about coke in China?
Don’t they all have the same ingredients and bottling regulations?

Coke in China is kosher according to multiple Chabad Rabbis in China. It is served in all of the Chabad houses there.
Anyone know about the kosher status of coke in Turkey?
I don’t know about Coke in Mexico, China, Siberia, Afghanistan, and North Korea, but I was told that Coke on Mars is Kosher because there are no animals or insects there, hence there is no problem of tarfus. As far as the remote possibility that some Coke products might have been transported to Mars via the Mars Rover, those products would probably be American made, and would probably have the OU label affixed to them. Nevertheless, all shailos concerning Coke products on Mars should be addressed to the VHK – the Vaad Hashruth of Mars – as they are most knowledgeable about Martian ingredients. Please use the aforementioned info only as a guide, and do not rely on this info for halacha lemaaseh.
does anyone know who makes Sunkist? and why there is no hechsher on it?
