Letter From Parnassah Expo Coordinator

Dear Lakewood Scoop, As one of the coordinators of Parnassah Expo, I have a request from your readers. We want to hear your success stories because we know that there are many! Even leads and connections that developed are considered a success too, so share it with us!

Please send it all in to [email protected] and give chizuk to all. Any successes that get published will be done so anonymously. Don’t be shy! Send it in now!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the attendees for taking a tremendous step and having the courage to attend the expo. It really was unbelievable to see how many people showed up and we know it’s not an easy matzav. Each and every one of you that attended was a source of chizuk for everyone else there to see ‘we are all in it together’. Our goal is to try to be there for you and create Parnassah in every home.

Thank you to TLS for doing an outstanding job on bringing the expo to the forefront.

Looking forward to hearing more success!

  1. It is extremely important that people send in their success letters. When the cordinators see that the success ratio was extremely slim, if any at all, they will reconsider next time how to make this expo more successful for without proper training, guidance and advice people will not find jobs by simply attending an expo and walkimg around tables.
The need for jobs is extremely pressing in this town and an expo is only a bandaid.

  2. Why you so bitter? Not that its any of ur business, but there were many job shiddichim made at the Expo. U have a bas attitude my friend. Yes the expo was overcrowded, it was the first one run by all volunteers. What are You doing to help anyone besides sitting at home writing nasty comments. Gee whiz

  3. Actually I know a success story. A business owner at a crossroads (otherwise known as a downturn) went to the Expo and received excellent free advice that they are implementing now. Yes they need siyata dishmaya, but the world is built on chessed and that is what this expo was about.
