As we all know, with the current health crisis, many chasunos have been delayed or rescheduled.
This has led to even less availability than usual at most local chasuna halls. For many families, the amount of time necessary to wait for the least expensive hall to be available is not realistic, and they are forced to book a higher-priced hall in order to schedule the chasuna within a reasonable time-frame.
All that is about to change.
For those who want to keep their simcha expenses down as much as possible without waiting an undue length of time for a date at the least expensive hall, there is now another option.
I am working with one of the local simcha halls to begin booking chasunos there. But in order to make it work for them logistically and financially, the hall is requesting a minimum of ten chasuna bookings. This will enable them to streamline the process and offer the chasunos for the best possible price.
If you or someone you know have a recent engagement in the family, or an upcoming engagement IY”H, please reach out to me as soon as possible if you are interested in more information. I can be reached at newchasunahall@gmail.com or 732-931-2045. We can discuss this option at further length with no commitment on your part. If you determine that this option makes sense for your budget, your time-frame, and your family, you will BEZ”H be able to schedule the chasuna without undue delay and for an excellent price.
It should be in a mazeldike sha’ah!
P.S. Of course, all bookings are subject to government regulations and chasunos will only be held when allowed by those regulations.

Maybe we should shorten the time of each wedding to chuppa+one dance & buffet eating so that there can be 2 weddings/ day-night. Hopefully halls will charge much less since they are getting $ from 2, meal will be 1/2, singer, photographer will be 1/2 etc.
Great Idea. Israel style. Works well. And saves alot of time and money.no need to spend 10k+ on a caterer.
Great idea!! This will give some more schools much needed income since smaller halls are in the schools. I’m so excited to see this maybe we can use smaller bar mitzva halls and do scaled down weddings inviting different ppl for each part of the wedding, like grandparents for chuppa, where the rest of the ppl stay in cars since chuppa would be out doors. Then have just family for the meal with one seat empty between each person. and then chosson Kallah friends for dancing, with gloves and mask!!!
I second that idea. Especially Sundays. Large halls can also be encouraged to tastefully divide perhaps to allow 2 simultaneous weddings with a normal (read: 250) amount of guests. As in the Malchut in Bnei Brak that hosts several weddings per night.
Nothing new! Bais Faiga (Ateres Chana) already does 2 chasunahs on Sundays.
