Is it possible that janitorial staff did it?
Why is there such a big proliferation of shaimos to begin with??
There is a good chance that this was the janitor. But maybe to prevent this problem we shouldn’t have every chuchom assume people are dying to hear his words of wisdom so he needs to spam every shul with pamphlets.
Of course I am not referring to Arab Avigdor Miller as one of these “chachumim” but the amount of papers that shuls have to clean up every week is insane.
Can you give a source that you can’t bring it into the bathroom?
As a Gabai in a Shul, it is a Bizayon the amount of pamphlets that are left without anyone ever asking permission. Is a Shul a local dump? Perhaps those that give out pamphlets are to blame.
Janitors. Also please don’t drop your pamphlets off without permission. While many of them contain beautiful Torah, Shaimos removal becomes a big expense for a Shul when there are 100’s dropped off each week.
If you have Torah to share, perhaps collect last weeks leftovers when you drop off your latest one.
In my neighborhood (somewhere in NYC) the one who puts out the Toras Avigdor in all the shuls goes around after Shabbos and collects the ones that are lying around…
Then you saw it again? Did you remove it the first time you saw it?
