[COMMUNICTED] Dear brothers and sisters! With great pain in my heart and with just a few words, I am forced to express the plight of a kallah, right before her wedding date. The kallah – that is me.
I simply cannot believe that I am actually doing this, but this turned out to be my lot. I have no other choice but to turn to Klal Yisroel – Rachamonim B’nei Rachamonim.
Just a few month after the stormy period of a prolonged painful and horrendous illness to which my father O.B.M. succumbed and returned his soul to its maker, a new set of problems arose to my family and to me.
While a young orphaned girl, still liking her wounds trying to cope with the new situation, she was fortunate to become engaged to a fine young scholarly gentleman.
Being that the passing of the father took a great toll on the health of the mother, she is not in the position of taking charge of the household. As a result, the entire burden of the family’s finances, besides all of the wedding preparations and planning, became the sole responsibility of the Kallah.
With no outside help whatsoever, the situation became unbearable.
The only people who frequent our home lately, are those who seek payment. The shame and pain we endure is beyond description.
Kindhearted and generous yidden!
Please have mercy on a young orphaned Kallah!
Instead of having a father to walk his daughter to the chupah, as he did at the previous weddings, the Kallah has to manage everything on her own.
With a broken heart I ask, “Who is willing to help out an orphaned Kallah in her time of distress?”
I will also have you in mind under the Chupah!
Humbly,
The Kallah Brocho
