Leiby Kletzky’s Killer Sentenced To 40 Years To Life In Prison

Levi Aron, who pleaded guilty to brutally murdering 8 year old Leiby Kletzky A’H, was sentenced today to 40 years to life in prison. He will be eligible for parole in 40 years.

Aron pleaded guilty earlier this month to the murder, in a deal which avoided a trial.

The family of Leiby said the guilty plea brings with it some closure, since a trial would have brought with it the gruesome details surrounding their son’s death, and would cause them to relive the horror they experienced the last Summer.

  1. 40 to life means a minimum of 40, and at that point he goes before a parole board who will decide if he should get more.

Son of Sam was sentenced to 25-life in 1977 and is still in jail because the parole board didn’t grant his parole request.

  2. To chillax,
Sometimes the sentence gets reduced for good behavior. Which is why someone who did something horrible can get a sentence of 200-300 years. If his sentence gets reduced, so he only has 100 years in jail. Basically until he dies.
The question is why did Aron get only 40 years to life

  3. They definitely did the right thing. Besides the unbearable pain to the Kletzkys, this would have caused a massive chilul Hashem parading this guy’s behaviour for all to see. If you have to cut him a little slack to accept the deal, so be it.

  4. this monster deserved the death penalty. or at LEAST a 100year sentence in a labor camp.

this is the EXACT reason why i cant stand liberals.
they enact laws & regulations that are always soft and gentle on criminals/lazy people/social parasites/ and inmates. its a shame that this filth cant be put into a labor camp where he will be made to work 12hours a day just to earn the food and free services he will receive for life.
    THIS FILTH WILL BE:
    WATCHING TV
    WORKING OUT IN THE GYM
    EARNING COLLEGE DEGREE’S
    GETTING MEDICAL HEALTH COVERAGE
    MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
    HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING
    SOFT BED & BLANKETS
    24/7 BODY GUARDS
AND WILL HAVE LAWYERS READY TO SUE THE STATE IF GOD FORBID HE’S HURT. –
and we are going to be paying for all of that!

thank the liberals that inmates in jail have it BETTER than the people living in tent city.

  5. Just so everyone understand, to get a lifetime sentence, there would have to have been a trial. In a trial, the entire episode is picked apart in full detail. To avoid the pain this would cause the family (and presumably the chilul HaShem), the family agreed to a plea deal in which Levi pleaded guilty to the charges (without trial) with a sentence of 40 to life. In some ways this is better because in trial, you never know. You can get a crazy jury that belives he was insane at the moment of the crime and find him innocent!

  6. 40 years is the maximum he’s gona get! for good behavior it gets reduced…! and im not walking outside after 40 yrs- this guy is really dangerous!
