Legislation Introduced To Fix Major Gaff In New Jersey Gun-A-Month Law

B1GUN_FR_C_^_FRIDAYJon Corzine, over NSSF’s strenuous objection, New Jersey’s one-gun-a-month legislation did not provide an exemption for federally licensed firearms retailers, who would be barred from purchasing inventory from distributors or manufacturers. This was reported on at length before being signed by the anti-gun governor who ignored all warnings. NSSF raised this problem in testimony before the Firearms and Advisory Task Force. Thankfully, the task force listened and recommended corrective legislation that has been introduced in the “lame duck” session and is expected to be passed in the next week or so and be signed into law.
