‘Learning And Networking Kollel’ Opens At New Chavrei Hakollel Campus

Duvi Honig with Simcha Greenwald Chavrei HakollelAfter nearly a year of planning, a Learning and Networking program called Torah V’avoda Networking Kollel has launched today. The program, created for those recently out of a job, or those leaving Kollel, will feature a Learning Seder with R’ Yaakov (Jeff) Tzvi Rubin, followed by various networking programs affiliated with Mesila, PCS and LCCR.

The Learning program will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the networking program at 6:00 p.m.

Besides the regular programs, which includes computer rooms for use by all, the program will feature seminars twice a week.

“We put together a solid board”, says Duvi Honig, the founder of the program. “The body includes business consultants from multiple organizations who are highly involved in assisting people finding jobs” he said.

“Another advantage is, people can socialize and network on their own, especially people with business skills but no education, can start their own Parnasa being guided through networking”

The program is also intended for those shifting from Kollel to the work field and can’t keep a Yeshiva schedule.

“They would have access to the networking and still be able to have a seder at the end of the day”, says Honig.

“I believe that by bringing talent together, the sky is the limit what can be achieved”.

The program is located in the new Chavrei Hakollel building, 911 Somerset Avenue.

  2. I am very impressed with R’ Simcha Greenwald. When you see him he seems like a very unassuming individual. You would never imagine that he is the type to accomplish all this.
He gives his entire life for his mosad and would do anything for a friend.
    What a mench!
