Two powerful marketing tools are exhibiting at a trade show and event marketing. The Lakewood Development Corporation, the administrative arm of the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ), will help you find out everything you ever wanted to know about exhibiting at trade shows at a free business seminar, “Trade Showmanship and Event Marketing,” Tuesday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Room 18 in the Lakewood Municipal Building, 231 Third Street, Lakewood. The workshop, presented by the SBA (Small Business Association) and NJAWBO (N.J. Association of Women Business Owners), is open to the public. Learn such trade show “how to’s” as choosing exhibit space; budgeting time and resources; promoting participation before, during and after; increasing traffic to your booth; instantly capturing the interest of those passing by; qualifying visitors; and getting best follow-up results.
All businesses are welcome whether or not they are participating in a UEZ program. A question and answer period will follow. To register or find out about UEZ programs and seminars, call May Kay at 732-364-2500 x5256 or mmalec@lakewoodtwpnj.org.
