PHOTO: Police just arrested an alleged thief after he was spotted stealing from the area of Madison Avenue. The LCSW member patrolling the area of Second Street witnessed a Hispanic male moving several car batteries and tires from the area of the gas station after they were stolen last night during a robbery at the gas station. Upon spotting the LCSW member, the suspect dropped the stolen items and ran.
The member immediately called police while the LCSW unit – along with several backup members – followed the suspect, while keeping the responding officers updated on the whereabouts of the suspect.
Police arrived to the area and after a short scuffle, took the party into custody.
Arresting officers were Ptl. Kevin Sunath and Ptl. Mike Anderson. TLS-50/TLS-24/TLS-89/TLS-01/TLS-CCP.
